ALAPPUZHA: CPM State Secretary MV Govindan has said that there is no need for the party to interfere in the Exalogic issue adding that not only Veena Vijayan but anyone can be questioned. He was speaking to the media after reaching Alappuzha as part of the election campaign.

"How can the Congress, which cannot even use its own flag for fear of the BJP, fight fascism? Congress should show the courage to say that it is the flag of Muslim League and not of Pakistan. With AM Ariff winning, Alappuzha will get two MPs. One in the Lok Sabha and one in the Rajya Sabha," MV Govindan said.

"Rahul Gandhi is unable to stop the influx of members from Congress to BJP. Even in Kerala, the sons of top leaders have gone to the BJP. After coming to Kerala, Rahul Gandhi did not utter a single word about the Citizenship Act. Congress is complicit in looting through electoral bonds. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has only the quality of a low-level RSS man," he said.

Currently, KC Venugopal, a member of the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan, is contesting against the sitting MP of the Left Front in Alappuzha, AM Ariff. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will visit Alappuzha constituency tomorrow for KC Venugopal's election campaign. He will also participate along with KC Venugopal in the roadshow which will start from Kayamkulam at 4 pm and end at Karunagapally. It is reported that many national leaders including Rahul Gandhi will arrive in Alappuzha for the election campaign of KC Venugopal in the coming days.
