LUCKNOW: The miraculous phenomenon known as 'Surya Tilak' happened today at noon at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw the video of Ram idol illuminating Surya Tilak on a tab. Prime Minister noted on X that it was a very emotional moment for him like billions of Indians. A picture of Modi praying inside the plane with his sandals off and palms on his chest has also been shared.

"After my Nalbari rally, I watched the Surya Tilak on Ram Lalla. Like crores of Indians, this is a very emotional moment for me. The grand Ram Navami in Ayodhya is historic. May this Surya Tilak bring energy to our lives and may it inspire our nation to scale new heights of glory." Prime minister noted on X.

Surya Tilak is the phenomenon where the sun's rays fall exactly on Ram Lalla's forehead. It means respect. The word Surya Abhishek is derived from two words Surya and Abhishek. It is believed that Lord Rama is from the 'Ikshvaku' clan of the Suryavamsha, also known as the descendants of Surya. That is why Surya Abhishek is very important on Ramnavami day.
