'Maybe covid vaccine'; Bollywood star Shreyas Talpade about suffering massive heart attack

MUMBAI: Shreyas Talpade, the Bollywood actor just 48 years of age, gave a scare to his followers after he was rushed to hospital in 2023. The doctors confirmed a major heart attack, leaving everyone in disbelief. And now, after surviving the scare, Shreyas has emerged fit and has opened up about those days in hospital.

Shreyas:

I don't smoke, I'm not a regular drinker and I don't use tobacco products. My cholesterol level is a bit high, but doctors say it's normal to have such level these days. After taking medicines, I have brought the level to normal. I don't have diabetes or BP, so what was behind my sudden heart attack?

After taking the COVID-19 vaccine I started feeling fatigued. I think there is some truth in the rumours regarding the vaccine. Either due to COVID-19 or its vaccine. Any of these may be related. Unfortunately, we don't know what we put into our bodies. We trusted the companies and took the medicine. I have never heard of such incidents before Covid.

Last year in December, Shreyas suffered a heart attack while shooting for the film 'Welcome to the Jungle' in Mumbai. Other notable films of the actor include Iqbal, Om Shanti Om, Door, Golmaal 3, Kon Praveen Tambe and Housefull 2.
