CHALAKKUDY: The senior CPO of Aloor police station, who has been missing since May 8 under mysterious circumstances, has been found. The said official, PA Salesh (34), a native of Vijayaraghavapuram, was found from Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday afternoon. A team led by Chalakudy DySP found him from a lodge near Thanjavur's new bus stand. The reason for his absence will be clear only after interrogating Salesh in detail.

The police found that Salesh was in Thanjavur area when he used his ATM card the other day. Following this, a team led by Chalakudy DySP went to Thanjavur and conducted a detailed inspection to find him. Salesh is the son of Palathinkal Ayyappan.

On the May 8, Salesh, who went to the police station for duty, did not return, and his relatives lodged a complaint. Chalakkudy police registered a case and started investigation but was in the dark until now.

Salesh's bike, which was found near the Chalakudy KSRTC bus stand, was taken to the police station. They tried to contact Salesh on his mobile phone but it was switched off. Even though the phone was turned on in between, the location could not be found.

Earlier, Salesh had also worked at Mala station. There was also a demand to investigate the allegation that his absence without leave was caused by mental pressure from the top police officers.
