19-year-old boy found hanging inside college hostel in Thrikaripur

KASARGOD: A college student was found hanging inside his hostel room in Thrikaripur. The incident took place at the hostel of the EK Nayanar Polytechnic College in Thrikaripur. The deceased student has been identified as Kasargod Bheemanady native Abhijith Gangadharan (19).

Abhijith was found hanging inside the hostel room this morning. Police reached the spot soon after receiving the information. The body was shifted to the hospital after the inquest proceedings. The body will be handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem. The police said that a detailed investigation will be conducted into the incident.

Abhijith was a first-year computer science student in college. Exams have been going on in the college for the last few days.
It was a classmate of Abhijith who found Abhijith hanging when he went to Abhijith's room to collect his hall ticket. Following this, the college authorities informed the police. Locals have also gathered in front of the hostel after learning about the incident.
