Every season of the Malayalam show Bigg Boss has grabbed headlines for reasons like fights, tasks, relationships and many more. However, contestants filing police complaints was never heard of. Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 winner Akhil Marar has received a police notice asking him to appear at the Cyber Police station of Thiruvananthapuram city on 23.05.2024 by 11:00 am. Marar has posted a picture of the notice along with a long note on why he has been asked to appear. The post is as follows.
I am posting this police notice that I received today... The complainant is Shobha Vishwanath...
Even after asking the investigating officer several times, they are unable to tell me what crime I have committed... They said that a case should be filed under CRPC section 153 if a woman files a complaint, hence they did.
Another case was filed in the commissioner's office through child welfare, saying that a POCSO case should be filed against me, saying that I beat my children. I am a father who is also a friend to my children. I have never even shouted at my children let alone beat them.
Dhanya Raman had earlier made an allegation of very serious charity fraud against Shobha. That too with Shobha's name and photo. She could not say a word against it. The reason may be that Dhanya Raman has evidence in her hand. So, there are many people among us who live like this through charity scams in the name of children, doing business in the name of the poor... I believe that Shobha would not do that.. but one should ask why she did not respond when Dhanys Raman said it...
Many of you have heard what I have said in public.. I don't know that any of the contestants in season 5 had any difficulty in any way but I said that there is a doubt that someone got in there saying that they can pay a bribe i.e. half of what they get...
3 girls openly supported what I said.. other contestants and some like Sreelakshmi Arackal said that what I said was true..
I had sent to Shobha what a mother had told me as the experience of her daughter and the problem of another contestant's friend... I had asked Shobha if she could intervene in the matter. She did not respond a single word against it, because of her animosity towards me and her anger for not getting the cup. She is walking with a grudge that I robbed her of what she deserved without realizing the reality that she was rejected in the fourth place.
She will do far worse than this against me. I am posting this so you know… Even women who deserve justice will be viewed with suspicion because of such actions by people like her.
Men and women are equal, but they will file a case for whatever a woman says.
