Convoy of Brij Bhushan Singh's son hits motorbike; two youths killed

LUCKNOW: Two bike passengers, including a 17-year-old, were killed after a car in the convoy of Karan Bhushan Singh, the BJP candidate from Kaiserganj, hit their motorbike. Karan Bhushan Singh is the son of BJP leader and former Wrestling Federation Of India president Brij Bhushan Singh. The accident took place near Baikunth Degree College on Colonelganj-Hujoorpur Road in Gonda.

The deceased have been identified as Rehan and Shahzad. Both of them died on the spot. Police have arrested the driver of the SUV car. According to sources, the SUV car that hit the motorbike is registered in the name of Nandini Nagar Educational Institute run by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's family.

A large number of people gathered in the area soon after the accident. It is said that a 60-year-old woman also sustained injuries in the accident. The woman has been shifted to the hospital. It is not known yet if Karan Bhushan Singh was present in the convoy at the time of the accident. The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the hospital for further proceedings.
