'Boat for every house scheme in Kochi'; Krishnaprabha hits out with sarcastic post

KOCHI: Deluge has hit Kochi and the city is grappling to come out from the mess inflicted by the rains. Water has even entered many residential areas and houses too have bear the brunt of the havoc. At this time, actress and dancer Krishnaprabha wrote a post on Facebook addressing the authorities which has now gone viral.

Krishnaprabha in a sardonic tone, took a jibe at the government and the corporation, asking for a new scheme of ‘one boat in one house’ to be implemented in Kochi.

Krishnaprabha:

“To the respected authorities,

Please link a scheme to connect both the metro and the water metro for the public. We can do this in such a way that the water metro can be used to take passengers to the normal metro station across the city. If not for this, we can try another project of ‘one boat in one house’ subsidy scheme to help the citizens battle the flood.

Jokes aside, I don't think this disastrous situation is going to change no matter which party comes to power. Our fate!“
