The sole heir to a business empire worth 7000 crores. Jayanthi Chauhan is the young woman competing with corporate giants Mukesh Ambani and Ratan Tata. Jayanthi is the daughter of Ramesh Chauhan, the chairman of Bisleri, an Indian multinational company. Jayanthi, who initially refused to enter the business arena, is now a successful architect of an international company.

Ramesh Chauhan had considered selling Bisleri International considering its age and lack of backing. Discussions were also held regarding the acquisition of Bisleri by the Tata Group in 2022. But the deal did not materialize. It was then that Jayanthi Chauhan came forward to lead her father's company. Since Bisleri took over as vice chairman, the company has seen a big change.

Last year, Jayanthi announced the launch of three new drinks that changed the company's profile. Bottled water company Bisleri has introduced carbonated drinks. Rev, Pop and Spicy Jeera were introduced as new products. These come under the category of cola, orange and cumin. Earlier, Bisleri introduced carbonated drinks under Limonata. The import of new products made the company more profitable. Promotion through digital and social media platforms also boosted product growth.

Before Bisleri expanded into the soft drinks market, Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance had planned to launch its own soft drinks under the Campa Cola brand. This includes the acquisition of Pure Drinks Group. Experts believe that the entry of Bisleri will be a challenge to Reliance's plans in the soft drinks industry.

After the Bisleri deal fell through, Tata had invested heavily in mineral water brands like Copper Plus and Himalayan. With this, Jayanthi Chauhan's Bisleri International is competing with Tata Group and Reliance in this sector.

Jayanthi Chauhan, who started working at Bisleri from the age of 24, is now leading the company from the position of Vice Chairperson at the age of 42. Jayanthi also leads Bisleri's sales and marketing team.

Having graduated in Product Development from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles, USA and Fashion Styling from Istituto Marangoni Milano, Italy, Jayanthi honed her skills in photography and fashion styling at London College of Fashion. He also holds a BA in Arabic from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
