KANYAKUMARI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuing his meditation at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari. The meditation, which began yesterday evening, will end by tomorrow afternoon. A picture of Modi in a saffron outfit, meditating, has come out.

The Prime Minister reportedly drank only hot water yesterday night. Although a special room was arranged for the Prime Minister to meditate, he refused to use it. Modi spent the whole night meditating at Dhyan Mandapam. He witnessed the sunrise this morning. Following this, he resumed his prayers.

Heavy security has been arranged in Kanyakumari in the wake of the Prime Minister's visit. More than 2000 policemen have been deployed on land alone. Apart from this, boats of the Indian Navy and ships of the Coast Guard are also providing security to the Prime Minister.

Modi travelled to Kanyakumari after landing at the Thiruvananthapuram airport yesterday evening. He travelled from Thiruvananthapuram to Kanyakumari on a helicopter.

The Prime Minister is known to undertake spiritual journeys at the end of election campaigns. In 2019, he had visited Kedarnath, and in 2014, he visited Shivaji's Pratapgarh.
