NEW DELHI: The Congress has withdrawn its decision not to participate in the exit poll debates ahead of the Lok Sabha election results. The decision was taken after a meeting of the INDIA front in Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that Congress representatives will participate in the debates. A crucial meeting of opposition allies was held at Mallikarjun Kharge's residence in Delhi. After the meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge told the media that the INDIA Front would win more than 295 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
"According to the report given by various parties, it is estimated that the INDIA front will win 295 seats in the elections. This is not a government survey. NDA won't win more than 235 seats. Workers will be given strict instructions to exercise caution on the counting day. All the parties in the INDIA alliance are united. The alliance is moving forward with unity," Kharge said.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin did not participate in the meeting. Mamata had informed the leaders of the INDIA alliance in advance that she would not be able to attend the meeting as the final phase of voting was going on. TR Balu attended the meeting on behalf of DMK. Kharge himself has shared a video of the INDIA front meeting on X.
