Conductor applauded for saving youth standing on footboard of bus from falling

KOLLAM: The conductor in a slip second saved the life of a youth. He grabbed the youth’s hand when he was about to fall from the bus. The incident happened on ‘Sunil’ bus operating service on Chavara-Adoor-Pandalam route. The incident happened at Karalimukku in Kollam. The passenger was about to slip from the bus when it started moving. Immediately the conductor identified as Bijith Lal grabbed the passenger’s hand and rescued him.

The passenger was able to hold the hand rail only with one finger of his left hand. However, the door of the bus opened after hit by the youth’s back. Meanwhile, a major disaster has been averted due to the conductor’s act. After the video of the incident went viral, the conductor was applauded by many including the motor vehicles department. The Pathanamthitta Enforcement RTO felicitated Bijith Lal with a ponnada on behalf of the MVD.

After sharing the video, people are saying that this was a mass scene as seen in Vijay's movie and like Rajinikanth the conductor. Meanwhile, Bijith Lal told a media that the passenger was about to fall and soon he grabbed his hand from falling.
