THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader and MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan has once again made allegations against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter Veena Vijayan. Mathew Kuzhalnadan said in the Assembly that she received monthly payment from orphanages and this is clear the records of the Registrar of Companies are checked.

He once again brought up the monthly payment issue in the assembly when the discussion of the industries department was in progress. Mathew Kuzhalnadan also stated that he still stands by what he said about monthly payment earlier. Meanwhile, the Speaker intervened in the MLA's speech.

The Speaker was of the opinion that the matter under consideration of the court cannot be raised in the House. The Speaker told Kuzhalnadan that he should not speak in the House for the channel and social media. However, as the MLA continued his speech, the speaker switched off the MLA's mic.

In his speech, Kuzhalnadan stated that the High Court has sent a notice to the Chief Minister on the issue of monthly payment and that he will resign as MLA if it's proved that PV is not Pinarayi Vijayan. Mathew Kuzhalnadan challenged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan himself should clarify that PV is not himself, in the notice sent by the High Court.
