Woman beats up man for allegedly sexually assaulting daughter, no case registered against her

crime

ENATH: A man was remanded for sexually assaulting a Plus Two student. The said individual has been identified as Radhakrishna Pillai (59). The incident came to light after the mother of the teenager found out about the incident and beat the man. The bridge of his nose was broken in the beating. After being taken to the hospital on Friday night, he was produced in the court yesterday. Radhakrishna Pillai filed a police complaint against the child's mother, but no case was registered.

The incident took place at Nellimukal Junction at 5 pm on Friday. Radhakrishna Pillai allegedly sexually assaulted the teenager on the bus as she was returning home from school. Then the girl called her mother and said about this. When the mother reached the spot, Radhakrishna Pillai tried to assault her again. The woman tried to resist this and beat him up in the process. The Human Rights Commission registered a case in the incident. The police and KSRTC were asked to submit an inquiry report within 15 days.
