Prajwal Revanna’s brother arrested for sexually abusing party activist 

BENGALURU: Prajwal Revanna's brother and party leader Suraj Revanna was arrested in the case of abusing a male JDS activist. His arrest in the sexual abuse case was recorded Sunday morning at 8 am.

The complaint is that Suraj sexually assaulted a 27-year-old party worker on June 16 at a farmhouse in Hassan district of Karnataka. Meantime, Suraj Revanna responded that a false complaint was filed after he refused to pay him Rs 5 crore. Suraj Revanna's friend Shivkumar had the other day filed a police complaint against the party worker.

The complaint said that he had demanded Rs 5 crore from Suraj and if he did not pay, threatened to make him an accused in a sexual abuse case. Shivkumar said that the complainant had approached him to find a job for him. Shivkumar gave him Suraj's phone number. He started blackmailing Shivkumar and Suraj after he failed to get the job, the complaint said.
