Malappuram native arrested for sexually assaulting woman inside train

KOTTAYAM: A man has been arrested in Kottayam for sexually assaulting a woman inside a train. The arrested has been identified as Muhammad Faizal, a native of Perinthalmanna in Malappuram. The incident took place inside Rajya Rani Express.

After Muhammad Faisal tried to sexually assault a woman from Malappuram inside the train, the woman filed a complaint against him. Then a railway police team led by Kottayam Railway Police SHO Reji P Joseph arrested the accused.

He was later produced in court and remanded.
