A group of youngsters from Mannarkkad meticulously recreated the climax scene from the Malayalam thriller ‘Traffic’ which has now gone viral on social media. Director and actor Nadirshah shared the video on his Facebook page with the caption ‘Ningal Polichu Brothers’ (you did exceptionally well brothers!).

The three-minute-long video is now trending on social media with viewers crossing lakhs.

The video is directed by Muhammad Fazil, a resident of Kumaramputhur, Mannarkkad. The hospital scene and the effortless segue to the car chase have been worked to perfection by this group of youngsters. The video gives back the same vibe induced by the movie Traffic back in 2011. It took one and a half days for Sujin Mundakanni to shoot the scenes on iPhone. Editing was also done by Fazil himself. Fazil also sustained minor injuries while running behind the vehicle to enact a scene.

Apart from Fazil, the other actors include Rajeev Pallikurup, Nandu, Basheer, Murali, Suneer and Shajil Shan. Shabbir, Dilshad, Sajeev, Abhilash, and Gokul. The locals and their friends extended great support which made work easier for the young team of aspiring filmmakers.

The video was shot at Mannarkkad vegetable market, Kumaramputhur customs area, private hospital and clinic at Vattambalam. The video can be seen on Nadir Shah's Facebook page and Fazil's Instagram. Fazil had previously recreated scenes from movies such as ‘Kaithi’.
