Cable TV technician found dead; body found lying in stream

ALAPPUZHA: A youth was found dead in a stream in Alappuzha on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Pathirappally native Pratheesh (28), a cable TV technician. The body of the youth was recovered from the stream near Kailasam Junction, Pathirapally, on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, Pratheesh arrived in the area for inspection after a cable TV interruption was reported last night. Pratheesh's family had lodged a complaint with the police as he did not return home yesterday.

Meanwhile, a youth died on Monday after falling into a sewer during heavy rain in Kannur. The deceased is Ranjith Kumar, a security employee of a private firm. The accident took place in Manjodi in Thalassery.
