THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MVD warns that the number of fraudsters trying to extort money by sending fake messages in the name of e-Challan is increasing. Fraudsters are tricking people by sending fake messages using the official logo of e-Challan. In view of the complaints that many people have lost their money in this way, the Motor Vehicles Department has issued guidelines. MVD shared the guidelines in a Facebook post.

Watch out for fake SMS messages and WhatsApp messages in the name of e-challan prepared by AI camera, speed camera or direct vehicle inspection related to violations of moto vehicle rules.............
It has been noticed that the number of fraudsters trying to steal money by sending fake messages in the name of e-Challan is increasing.
