KANNUR: Motor Vehicle Department has found that Shuhaib murder case accused Akash Thillankeri does not have a driving license in Kannur. The MVD is checking whether he has license under other RTOs and sub-RTOs.

On Sunday, Akash Thillankeri drove a modified vehicle without a number plate. After identifying the vehicle, MVD charged nine charges against the owner of the vehicle. A case has been taken against the owner for letting Akash to drive without a license as his driving license information was not available in records. The motor vehicle department found that the vehicle belonged to a resident of Morayur in Malappuram. This is a vehicle that has been caught for violations of the law before.
