HYDERABAD: Actor Allu Arjun visited nine-year-old Sreetej who suffered serious injuries in the stampede that occurred during the premiere of Pushpa 2 movie. The actor visited Sreetej at a hospital in Hyderabad. The police had beefed up security at the hospital premises in connection with the actor's visit.

The stampede occurred on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre in Chikkadpally, Hyderabad, during the premiere show of Pushpa 2. Chaos ensued when Allu Arjun made an unexpected appearance, leading to a stampede. Tragically, the boy’s mother, Revathi, passed away on the spot.

Allu Arjun had earlier pledged to cover all medical expenses for Sreetej, who is a devoted fan of the actor. A video of Sreetej performing Allu Arjun's signature "fire action" dance from Pushpa had gone viral on social media.

Allu Arjun visited the hospital accompanied by the State Film Development Corporation Chairman, Dileep Raju. Police had instructed that the visit remain discreet, and notices were issued to ensure security arrangements around the hospital. Meanwhile, visuals of Allu Arjun's hospital visit have surfaced on social media.

Allu Arjun had earlier faced criticism for not visiting the boy immediately after the incident. Responding to the criticism, Allu Arjun's father explained that the actor had wanted to visit the boy the day after the accident but refrained based on hospital authorities' advice.
