Man dies after KSRTC bus hits scooter in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man died after a KSRTC bus hit his scooter. The accident occurred at Sreekaryam in Thiruvananthapuram. The dead has been identified as Selvan (68) of Venchavode in Sreekaryam. The KSRTC superfast bus hit him at Ilamkulam in Sreekaryam Tuesday morning at 5.30 am. The Sreekaryam police immediately took Selvan to the medical college hospital, but his life could not be saved.

The bus was going from Thiruvananthapuram to Kozhikode. The dead Selvan was a milk man. The body has been shifted to the mortuary of the medical college hospital. The body will be handed over to his family after completing the formalities.
