MUMBAI: Security has been beefed up for actor Shah Rukh Khan after a call reached Bandra police station issuing death threats to the actor demanding Rs 50 lakh. The call came from Raipur. The police concluded that a person named Faizan was behind the threatening message. His location has been found. However, information is also coming out that the threatening message came from a stolen phone.

A similar threat message was made against Shah Rukh in October as well. The police then swiftly arranged Y Plus category security for the actor. And now, with similar threats emerging, six security officers ave been assigned to shield the actor. Earlier, only two armed officers were in the actor’s entourage.

Just a few days back, actor Salman Khan was also at the receiving end of such death threats. A bounty of Rs five crore was placed on Khan’s head the other day. Police said it was Bishnoi gang behind the rising death threats at actors.
