'Nayanthara is reason behind separation of Dhanush and Aishwarya'; Tamil actor opens up

CHENNAI: The issues between actors Dhanush and Nayanthara have been a hot topic of discussion among fans for the last few days. On Wednesday, Dhanush filed a lawsuit in the Madras High Court against Nayanthara and her husband, Vignesh Shivan, for allegedly violating copyright by using footage from his 2015 film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in their Netflix documentary without permission. Dhanush was the producer of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, directed by Vignesh Shivan and starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles.

Now, the recent statements made by Tamil actor and YouTuber Anthanan about the issues between Dhanush and Nayanthara are garnering the attention of social media users. In an interview given on a YouTube channel, Anthanan said that Nayanthara was the reason for the separation of Dhanush and his wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth.

"Dhanush had issues with Nayanthara ever since she got into a relationship with Vignesh Shivan. He did not like a top actress like Nayanthara getting romantically involved with a small director. The couple's behaviour on the sets of 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' also drew Dhanush's animosity," Anthanan said.

"During the making of the documentary, Nayanthara could have directly talked to Dhanush and requested the clips from the film. However, she officially handled the matter by calling Dhanush's manager. Dhanush did not agree to this. When the manager somehow convinced Dhanush, the actress asked him to come to her office instead of going to his office. This further provoked Dhanush," Anthanan said.
