CHENNAI: Another notice against actress Nayanthara's documentary. Shivaji Productions, the makers of 'Chandramukhi', have sent a notice demanding compensation of five crore rupees. The complaint is that Nayanthara's documentary 'Beyond the Fairytale' used the scenes from the movie 'Chandramukhi' without permission. Chandramukhi is a film released in 2005 starring Rajinikanth.

Earlier, actor Dhanush's company had also sent a notice against Nayanthara's documentary seeking compensation for copyright infringement for using the scenes from 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' without permission. It gave rise to many discussions and controversies. Nayanthara had come out with an open letter against Dhanush for not giving NOC to use the footage from the film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' for the documentary 'Beyond the Fairytale'. This caused a big controversy in Kollywood. A documentary was later released on Netflix including footage from the film. Dhanush filed a case in court following this.

Dhanush was the producer of 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' directed by Vignesh Sivan starring Nayanthara. Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan fell in love on the sets of this film. That's why there is a mention of that movie in the wedding documentary.
