KOZHIKODE: The central leadership is discussing the change in ministership, said Thomas K Thomas MLA. Met the chief minister in person and the latter said to act accordingly after informing party’s decision, said the MLA after attending the fifth death anniversary of Thomas Chandy.
‘There are a few things to do in the constituency and after that will meet the chief minister again. Spoke to Sharad Pawar. I have a good relationship with the chief minister. The chief minister has not expressed any objection to the change in ministership. Many of the news carried by the dailies are not correct. The decision of the leadership has not come yet. I am waiting for that. It was Sharad Pawar who said that after two and a half years there should be a change in the ministership and that I should be made a minister,' said Thomas K Thomas.
Meantime, Minister A K Saseendran has lashed out against the NCP state leadership. The chief minister has a role in the mechanism of the cabinet. The state leadership did not understand that properly. The chief minister does not insist on protecting me specifically. The minister while talking to the media in Kozhikode clarified that such propaganda is wrong.
The chief minister has some differences of opinion in making Thomas K Thomas a minister. The minister said such a person cannot be imposed in the cabinet. The chief minister has made his dissatisfaction clear to the NCP central leadership. He said the chief minister has reservations in deciding a cabinet member.
