NDRF officials get promotion in Lord Ayyappa's presence

PATHANAMTHITTA: The holy shrine of Sabarimala Sannidhanam organized a promotion ceremony for two officers of the National Disaster Response Force. NDRF Arakkonam 4th Battalion Deputy Commandant Gaikwad and Sannidhanam Special Officer S Madhusudanan gave official insignia to both officials on their uniforms, as part of the promotion procedure.

Ajesh from Ernakulam and Navale Kiran from Satara, Maharashtra have been promoted from the post of Constable to the post of Head Constable. Ajesh has 15 years of service and Kiran has 17 years. Both joined the disaster relief force from the CISF. Ajesh has been doing Sannidhanam duty for the last 45 days while Navale reached the shrine only on December 20th. Kerala Police Assistant Commissioner Harish Jain IPS, NDRF Inspector Alok Kumar Shukla and NDRF personnel participated in the event.
