Many injured as tourist bus overturns in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: Several suffered injuries after a tourist bus that was on a pleasure trip overturned at Kadambanad Kallukuzhi Friday morning around 6:30 am. A group of B.Ed students and teachers from Kollam Fathima Memorial Training College were on the bus.

The accident occurred while they were on their way to Munnar. The group was traveling in two buses. One of the buses lost control and overturned. Reports said there were 51 people in the bus. More than forty were injured. They were admitted to the taluk hospital in Adoor and a private hospital. The cause of the accident is not clear.
