'Beauty is not about over-projecting the body; 90% of Kerala supports me': Rahul Easwar responds to Honey Rose

Actress Honey Rose's sexual harassment complaint against businessman Bobby Chemmanur and activist Rahul Easwar's stand against it has recently become a popular topic. Honey Rose has said in an interview that some people have distorted her complaint by speaking about the issue in a beautiful way. Honey said that hers is a sexual harassment complaint, and some have beautifully distorted that complaint, citing her style of dressing. Rahul Easwar has come out with a response to this remark by the actress. Rahul says that people in Kerala stand by his opinion.

'It is said that I have distorted Honey Rose's complaint in front of the society by speaking beautifully. It is said that I caused Honey Rose and the society dishonour. I am happy that they accept that I speak beautifully. They said that I used Honey Rose's dress to support Bobby Chemmanur. You should understand the truth of this. This is not because Rahul Easwar speaks beautifully. I am a common man. People have understood the truth of what I am saying.

99 percent of the comments that Honey Rose has received for the interview are critical. I agree with one thing that Honey Rose said. However, there are also things that I disagree with. No girl should be a victim of cyber attacks. I support that 100 percent. But there are some things that Honey Rose should not forget. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, the Women's Commission and the Youth Commission, and 99 percent of the media are with you. But 90 percent of the people in the Kerala society support the opinions of a few people like Rahul Easwar.

Has Honey Rose thought about this? The Chief Minister and the media say that Honey Rose is engaging in a big fight. Yet people stood with us because they understood that there is truth and decency in what we are saying. It will not be dark if you close your eyes, Honey Rose. You should still come back to the cinema strongly and do inaugurations. However, realise that there is a decent dress code to follow. Understand that unnecessarily hunting a man is wrong.

What Bobby Chemmanur said is not true. What should be done is not to jail him or file a complaint for it. All this is dirty. Don't file a complaint against me for criticising you. The Kerala public is supporting me more than Honey Rose. What is needed is a decent dress code. It is everyone's right to be beautiful or handsome, but there are some Lakshman Rekhas. It should not turn dirty. Realise that beauty is not about over-projecting different parts of the body. Let everything happen for the good.
