Live worm in young man's eye; doctors advise against eating this food

BHOPAL: A live worm was found in a young man's eye. The worm was found in the eye of a thirty-five-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh. The young man had been having problems with his eye for days. He approached many doctors after it became red and uncomfortable.

The problem did not improve despite taking medicines. After his vision deteriorated, he was taken to AIIMS. After a conducting a detailed examination, a one-inch-long worm was found in the vitreous gel inside the eye. It was also alive.

Doctors clarified that this was a rare incident. Removing the worm was not an easy task. After a very difficult surgery, the worm was able to be removed. The worm, which is a parasitic worm, got into the young man's eye.

It enters the body through uncooked meat and other things. Once it enters the body, it travels to various parts of the body such as the skin, eyes, and brain. This can cause many health problems. Doctors advised against eating uncooked or undercooked meat.
