Stop this slander campaign against my father's brother; Naveen Babu's daughter speaks against YouTube channels

PATHANAMTHITTA: Former ADM Naveen Babu's daughter says to stop the slander campaign against their family through YouTube channels. A slander campaign is being conducted against her father's brother, Praveen Babu, through online media. The family also alleged that this is an attempt to weaken those who are with him.

'The one who suffers the most for matters including the case is my father's brother. No one who knows him would slander him like this. We all take decisions regarding matters of the case after discussing it together. A person named Veena Mani is accusing my father's brother through YouTube as if she is trying to help us. This is not helping; it is only hurting us more. Please don't spread things you don't know. Such slander is being spread through online media to weaken the family and those who come to help us,' said Naveen Babu's daughter.

The High Court had rejected the appeal filed by the family seeking a CBI investigation into Naveen Babu's death. The family spoke to the media after this. The petition raising the same demand was earlier rejected by a single bench of the High Court. Following this, his wife Manjusha filed an appeal to the division bench. Currently, a special investigation team is investigating the case under the supervision of the Kannur Range IG.
