KOCHI: Thalassery Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplany has stressed that more attention should be paid to the marriages of boys rather than girls. He emphasized that boys should seriously consider marriage by the age of 25. In an interview on Shalom TV, he explained that the male generation needs to approach life with more responsibility.
"Certain wrong moral views need to be corrected. It has become increasing difficult for parents to find a suitable life partner for their son.Young people should have aspirations regarding their partners and actively search for someone compatible. Once they find the right person, they should inform their parents," he said
He added, "There’s a common belief that 'He’s a boy, his marriage will happen when the time is right.' However, it’s clear now that this is not the case. In today’s society, more focus should be placed on the marriage of boys, not just girls."
