'Just three weeks together, Bala helped me get divorce'; Elizabeth responds to Kokila's revelations

A day after actor Kokila’s harsh criticism, Dr Elizabeth Udayan decided to talk about her first marriage. Kokila talked about Elizabeth’s little known first marriage story and her history of taking medications for the past 15 years. Elizabeth has now responded to all such allegations.

Elizabeth:

“My first marriage was in May 2019. We lived together for three weeks. Yes, I married a doctor. We met through a matrimony website. This actor (Bala) helped me get a divorce. If anyone wants evidence, I have it with me.

He has now remarried and is living happily. It was a right down arranged marriage. There were 1800 people at our engagement function. The wedding too was a grand function. I have the papers of the mutual divorce with me.

If the doctor (former husband) raises any concern, I will surely talk more about my first marriage. Before this, I had a Facebook profile. I used to post trolls on it. I had put the tag ‘Happily divorced’ in it. It was through this account that I first proposed Bala. The actor himself warned me not to talk about my first marriage to the media, as he feared embarrassment.

Bala made me delete the account and also destroyed my old phone by smashing it to the floor. Kokila said that I took medicine for fifteen years. What medicine are you talking about? I'm thirty now. That means I've been taking medicine since I was fifteen. What kind of medicine are you taking? I expect more clarification on that. It was only recently that I started taking medicines for depression.”
