15 injured as KSRTC bus overturns in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: 15 people were injured after a KSRTC bus overturned at Mukkam in the district. The fast passenger bus was going from Kozhikode to Koombara when it overturned. It is reported that there were around 20 passengers in the bus when it met with an accident at Manassery in Mukkam. The bus driver and the conductor are among the injured. The conductor is reported to have fractured his shoulder.

The accident happened at around 11.30 pm on Sunday. Passengers said the bus was over speeding. It is reported that the accident occurred when it swerved to overtake a car in front. The condition of none of the injured is serious. The injured have been admitted to KMTC Medical College in Mukkam.
