Four-year-old run over by car in freak accident in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A four-year-old girl died tragically in a car accident in Edappal, Malappuram. The car, while in reverse gear, hit the four-year-old toddler who was lurking behind. Edappal native Jabir's daughter Amrubind Jabir died in the incident. Two women in the car and a female relative standing in the courtyard of the house were injured in the accident.

The woman who was standing in the courtyard has been seriously injured in the accident. She is now undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kottakkal.

It is reported that the automatic car, which was in reverse mode, suddenly took off at high speed. The car ran over the toddler and also hit the woman standing in the courtyard. The toddler was rushed to the hospital, but her life could not be saved.
