Healthy and affordable breakfast for just Rs 10; project being implemented in this district

KOLLAM: All dishes are very expensive if you go to hotels to eat outside. Even if you want to have a vada and tea, the bill comes to at least Rs 20 and above. Often, people do not have time to eat at home during travel and work. Therefore, the only way is to rely on food from hotels without checking the price.

What if you can get four idlis and sambar for just Rs 10? How and where to get it? It is a project of a local self-government body in the state. You can eat four idlis or dosa for just Rs 10. A good and spicy sambar will also be served as a curry. Kollam Corporation is introducing this project under the name 'Good Morning Kollam'. The operation of the breakfast food distribution counter has started from Monday, Vishu day. The breakfast distribution counter has started functioning at Chinnakada in Kollam city. The corporation authorities are expecting that the event will be a big hit and people will take it up.

Rs 20 lakh

The Kollam Corporation is launching a project called 'Good Morning Kollam' with the aim of providing breakfast to those arriving in the city. Rs 20 lakh has been allocated in the budget for this. The food is being prepared through the Kudumbashree unit.
