THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan admitted having a good relationship with the Kerala governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. The chief minister said the current governor was unlike his predecessor. When asked about the Governor's criticism of the Supreme Court regarding the bill, CM Pinarayi Vijayan treaded a fine line, saying it might be a political stance.
At the same time, CM lost his cool over questions about his daughter Veena’s company, Exalogic. He asked journalist not to take advantage of their profession to spout nonsense. The High Court had stayed further action on the SFIO report on Wednesday. CM got irked when asked whether the judgment was a relief or not.
When asked whether the government will intervene in the CPO protests:
CM: There will be dissatisfaction if those on the rank list do not get appointments. But the government has nothing to do. Appointments are made according to vacancies. There is no lapse in reporting vacancies and ensuring appointments.
Is IAS Prasanth going a tad overboard?
He is making illogical statements. Many of them are violations of the rules. He is an IAS officer who is facing an investigation.
