Jassie Gift faces heat for ignoring rapper Vedan; MG Sreekumar clears air

Singer MG Sreekumar was at the receiving end of trolls for admitting that he had no idea who rapper Vedan was. And now, Musician Jassie Gift is going through the same ordeal. Jassie Gift's response to a question about the Vedan is drawing criticism.

When asked about Vedan's issue during the promotion interview for a new film, Jassie pretended to not have heard the question and continued talking without mentioning the rapper.

Meanwhile, MG Sreekumar came up with an explanation for the Vedan issue.

“A channel asked me if it was ideal for singers to perform while being intoxicated. I answered it from my point of view and admitted to not knowing the rapper. I don't know Vedan (Hiran Das Murali). I don't know him. The media distorted the news. I can only wish him the best for his future endeavours.” Said M G Sreekumar.
