THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC President Sunny Joseph said that he will talk to leaders from all sections of the society and that he is not a representative of any community. The strength of the Congress is supporters and will face political challenges after a study, he said in an interview given to a private channel.
'I have a brotherly relationship with K Sudhakaran. I had met Sudhakaran before the announcement. The reorganization of the DCC will be done only after careful thinking. It is very beneficial that groupism has disappeared. No leader is promoting groupism now. I have faith in bringing down the Pinarayi government. The UDF is stronger in Kerala today. I am obliged to the party leadership for handing me the responsibility. No effort was made to become the president. Pinarayi Vijayan does not have a special image in Kerala. The chief minister is unable to respond to the allegations raised against his family,' said Sunny Joseph.
Meantime, the reins of the KPCC are in the hands of the new leadership from today. New office bearers took charge at the Indira Bhavan Monday morning. New KPCC President Sunny Joseph MLA and working presidents A P Anil Kumar, P C Vishnunath and Shafi Parambil arrived in the capital last evening after meeting senior leaders, seeking blessings and laying wreaths at the memorials of departed leaders. Adoor Prakash, who was appointed as UDF convener, had met senior leaders on Friday and laid wreaths at the memorials of Oommen Chandy.
