Yet another milestone for Adani controlled Thiruvananthapuram airport

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram Airport served 4,890,452 passengers between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025. This is the highest figure in a single financial year in the airport's history. This is an increase of 10 per cent compared to 4411,235 passengers in the financial year 2023-24. Of the total passengers, 25.9 lakh were domestic passengers and 22.9 lakh were international passengers.

The highest number of passengers travelled via Thiruvananthapuram on December 22, 2024 — 16,578. 101 services were operated on that day. Currently, an average of 14,614 passengers travel via Thiruvananthapuram daily to nine Indian cities and 14 foreign cities.

The airport handled a total of 33,316 services in the financial year 2024-25, a significant increase from 31,342 services in the financial year 23-24. Steps are underway to enhance passenger comfort and safety and ensure operational excellence through the development of infrastructure and the use of technology.
