Kamal Haasan loses his cool; scolds fan over a sword at Makkal Needhi Maiam meeting

CHENNAI: Kamal Haasan scolded a fan who came to see him with a sword at Makkal Needhi Maiam meeting. Kamal was angered when the fan asked him to take a picture with the sword. The footage of this has already gone viral on social media.

The incident took place on Saturday. Kamal Haasan was attending a meeting of his party Makkal Needhi Maiam after it was confirmed that he would be elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu. While Kamal was standing on the stage, a fan approached him with a sword. He asked Kamal to take the sword out of its sheath and pose with it. At first, Kamal smiled and nodded while holding the sword. However, the fan insisted again and even tried to untie the knot of the sword's sheath. When the fan insisted again, Kamal Haasan got angry and scolded the fan and his friends. In the footage that has emerged, Kamal is seen pointing his hand while talking to people. The video also shows a police officer intervening to stop the fan.
