Bad weather in Delhi: Air India flight from Kochi lands in Amritsar

NEW DELHI: An Air India flight from Kochi to Delhi was diverted due to bad weather. Flight AI 0822, which departed from Kochi at 11.35 am this morning, was scheduled to land in Delhi at 2.55 pm. It tried to land twice but failed. With this, the flight landed in Amritsar. The flight was prevented from landing due to heavy rain and wind in Delhi.

An IndiGo flight that departed from Kochi to Delhi was forced to make an emergency landing in Nagpur following a bomb threat. Authorities said that all passengers on board are safe. The police and bomb squad conducted a joint search of the plane.

The flight, which arrived in Kochi from Muscat, later flew to Delhi. Meanwhile, a threatening message was received in CIAL's email at 9.30 am. Authorities said that nothing unusual has been found in the inspection so far and that the plane will leave for Delhi after the inspection.
