JERUSALEM: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made the country's nuclear power clear in the wake of the escalating Iran-Israel conflict. He also stated that Israel will be able to destroy all of Iran's nuclear sites whether the US supports or not. He also said that they will not wait for US’ green signal to destroy Iranian sites, including the underground nuclear sites in Fordow.
In an interview with Kan public broadcaster, Netanyahu said that all of Israel's goals will be fulfilled. Benjamin Netanyahu also stated that it is entirely US President Donald Trump’s decision to join Israel or not. The Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran's enrichment center in Natanz, centrifuge workshops around Tehran, a nuclear facility in Isfahan, and what the military believes are the majority of Iran's ballistic missile launchers.
Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that Israel carried out airstrikes on the Caspian Sea city of Rasht early this morning. The Israeli military had warned the public to evacuate areas around the Rasht industrial city, located southwest of the city.
Meantime, Trump approved the plan to attack Iran. No final decision has been made on launching the attack. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that they are ready to attack as soon as Trump's order is received. People have begun mass evacuations from Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran. Indications are that the US attack will target Fordow. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will not be allowed to live.
The provocation was caused by an Iranian missile hitting the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. More than 30 people were injured. The US will not attack if it is ready to abandon its nuclear program. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's stance is that it will not surrender to US threats. Russia reiterated that US should not intervene. More than 270 people were injured in the Iranian attack in Israel early yesterday morning. Israel had bombed the Arak and Natanz nuclear facilities in Iran.
