NEW DELHI: Refugees from Pakistan who have found shelter in India have opened up about their experience in the country. They said that though they are experiencing shortage of basic necessities, they feel safe and satisfied in India. Around 150 families have recently found shelter in the Wazirabad region in Delhi.

The refugees are currently living in temporary shelters in the region. They said that there is a shortage of clean drinking water, food and sanitation. They also pointed out that the government has been ignoring their needs and they are facing difficulties in getting jobs as they do not have any identity cards. However, despite all these difficulties we are happy to live without any fear in India, they added.
