GANDHINAGAR: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has issued a stern warning to Pakistan, which is deploying troops around the Sir Creek in the border area of ​​Gujarat. He said that any wrong move by Pakistan will have to pay a heavy price. He was addressing the jawans on Vijayadashami day at the Lucky Nala military base in the Sir Creek area.

Even after 78 years of independence, a dispute over the border in the Sir Creek area is being stirred up. The way in which the Pakistan army has recently expanded its military infrastructure in areas adjacent to Sir Creek reveals its intentions. The Indian Army and BSF are jointly and vigilantly protecting the borders of India. If any misadventure is attempted from the Pakistan side in the Sir Creek area, it will receive such a decisive response that both history and geography will change' - Rajnath Singh said.

Sir Creek is a 96-km-long tidal estuary between Gujarat's Rann of Kutch and Pakistan. While India claims the maritime boundary runs through the center of the creek, Pakistan asserts the border lies along the eastern bank, closer to Gujarat.
