Kerala Kumbh Mela: Sri Maha Sri Chakra Navavarana Pooja to be held today

TIRUR: As part of the Maha Magha Mahotsavam, various special pujas and rituals will be performed today on the auspicious stars of Pournami, Thaipooyam, Magha Purnima and Pooyam. Maha Ganapathi Homam will begin at 6 am under the leadership of Acharya Suryakaladi Parameswaran Namboothiripad. From 11.30 am, Devi Bhagavata Parayanam, Lalitha Sahasranama Yajna and Devi Nama Japam will be conducted under the leadership of Acharya Professor Harish Chandrasekharan.

  • Kavadi Aattam at 7.30 am and 4 pm. Andiyoott from 10.30 am to 1 pm.
  • Sri Maha Sri Chakra Navavarana Pooja will be held from 4 pm.

Sri Maha Sri Chakra Navavarana Pooja is a special Tantric ritual performed for universal prosperity, protection and welfare.

The puja, which will be presided over by Aluva Tantra Vidyapeetham President and Tantric Teacher Mullappally Krishnan Namboothiri, will be held with devotional music, dance, and Vedic chanting. Those who wish to offer the Sri Maha Sri Chakra Navavarana Pooja as an offering for the fulfilment of their desires should contact the Maha Magha Organising Committee.

On Saturday morning, the Dakshinamurthy puja was performed under the guidance of Acharya Vishnu Anand, and the Bhairava puja was performed in the evening.
