
KOZHIKODE: The Left Democratic Front released the manifesto with big promises ahead of the 2026 crucial assembly polls. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan released the manifesto, which includes promises such as jobs for everyone who completes their studies in Kerala, campus placement, and complete health care for bedridden patients.
The manifesto contains a 60-point program and 950 proposals to continue the progress Kerala achieved in the past ten years. In addition to development and welfare, the manifesto also contains many announcements to enable the new generation to face the complexities of the contemporary world.
All welfare pensions will be increased to Rs 3000, and 60,000 children will be provided with jobs this academic year. 50 per cent employment for women, interest-free loans for the enterprises of educated people, free graduation education for students of arts and science colleges in the state in 2026-27, and no load shedding. The manifesto also says that efforts will continue for a high-speed South-North railway network.
The event held in Kozhikode was attended by LDF convener TP Ramakrishnan, CPI leaders Prakash Babu, K Krishnankutty, AK Saseendran, Elamaram Kareem and others.
