Mountaineer & Adventure Specialist Shaikh Hassan Khan expressed suspicion over the miraculous return of IT professional Saranya from Tadiandamol peak after four days of being stuck in the labyrinthine jungle. Hassan Khan, who had gone through a similar frightening experience after losing the way out of Pangot bird sanctuary, said that no humans could remain resilient in such a state as purportedly perfected by Saranya in Kodagu.

“For four hours, I was stuck in the middle of the bird sanctuary without knowing which way to take. The forest everyone witnesses during the daytime takes a different appearance at night. It is terrifying. Even the bravest of humans would tremble in the darkness. It is an experience that not everyone would want to go through.
The situation would force any sane human to walk in search of an escape and come close to a human-inhabited area, by whatever means possible. At least they will continue to try despite the odds. However, in Saranya’s case, it did not happen. Saranya said she decided to rest in the forest after experiencing pain on legs due to the hours of trekking. Nobody will reach that state of mind in the middle of nowhere and when surrounded by wild giants. This is not a resort but a dense and dangerous jungle. What she exhibited can barely be called a survival mindset.
Moreover, she didn’t even have the look of fatigue of a person deprived of food for the last three days. People watching this should not be made fools of. Surviving the jungle even for a few hours is scary as ever, and comes this Kodagu episode.”
