KOTTAYAM: Following the dismal performance of the National Democratic Alliance in the recently concluded by-election in Kerala, Poonjar MLA PC George has come up lashing out against the NDA and BJP leaders. While addressing NDA in Kerala as a weak political setup, he said that he would no longer attend the front's meetings.

George also took the opportunity to criticize the Hindutva policy followed by the BJP. He said," BJP does not consider non-Hindus as humans. I would no longer attend the NDA meetings as it is just a weak political setup." While criticizing NDA's selection of candidates for the by-election, he felt that K Surendran was cheated by his own party leaders. "Had Surendran contested in Manjeshwaram, he would've easily won. But the leadership cheated him by fielding him in Konni," he added.

PC George had joined the NDA just before this year's Lok Sabha elections. However, the front managed to end up third in his constituency and he was criticized by many for joining the NDA.
