From reels to reality: How an actress "predicted" Thalapathy Vijay’s historic win!

The Tamil Nadu election results are out, and while the streets are painted in Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) colours, a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of Jana Nayagan has set the internet on fire!

Shortly after the victory was announced, actress Pooja Hegde shared a throwback video that proves she saw this wave coming long ago.

Viral "Pookie" moment

In the video, Pooja is seen standing next to a whiteboard where the words "Who wins the election?" are written. She playfully hides the answer with her hands before pointing directly at Thalapathy Vijay.

The highlight? Upon being named the winner, Vijay—in a rare, adorable moment—goes full "Pookie" mode, hiding his face in his hands and blushing like a kid! Pooja couldn't help but burst into laughter at the superstar's shy reaction.

Sharing the clip, Pooja wrote:

"Guess I called it before it happened? Here’s to dreams turning into reality, Vijay sir!"

This isn't the only "prophecy" fans are celebrating. Social media is buzzing with a scene from Vijay’s previous film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT).

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that in one scene, Vijay drives a car with the registration number TN 07 CM 2026. For the Thalapathy faithful, this wasn't just a random prop—it was a bold prediction that he would be the CM-in-waiting by 2026!

The TVK has emerged as the single largest party in the 234-member assembly, clinching a staggering 108 seats.

• Double Victory: Vijay himself won from both Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East constituencies (he will now have to vacate one, leading to a by-election).
• The Path to Power: With 108 seats in the bag, TVK is just 11 MLAs short of the magic number (118) to form the government.
